Colombia’s thermal coal exports witnessed a 24% m-o-m decline at 3.3 mnt in Oct’22, customs data showed. The fall in shipments came as largest coal miner Cerrejon suspended production at its mine in La Guajira province following 13 illegal roadblocks. Exports to Europe fell sharply, while deliveries to Turkey and USA rose.
