Japan: Ferro chrome imports inch up 6% m-o-m in Sep’22

Japan’s high carbon ferro chrome imports increased by 6% m-o-m to 52,458 t in Sep’22 in comparison with 49,428 t in Aug’22, as per customs data.
South Africa was the largest exporter at 27,926 t followed by Kazakhstan, and India.
Total ferro chrome imports stood at 486,827 t in Jan-Sep’22, down by 3% y-o-y compared to the same period last year.
