South 32 has lowered the price of Australian manganese ore lumps (Mn 45%) by $0.1/dmtu to $4.7/dmtu for December’22 shipments. Furthermore, South African semi-carbonated manganese ore prices are $3.98/dmtu, a $0.04/dmtu decrease from Nov’22. The drop in prices is primarily due to weak demand, as China plans to reduce manganese alloy output by 50%. All prices are quoted CIF China.
