China: Steel billets prices up marginally d-o-d; rebar futures stable

Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan moved up marginally by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d on on 2 Nov’22. Prices stood at RMB 3,450/t ($474/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,485/t ($478/t), stable d-o-d.
