South Korea: Major steel mills to cut scrap buy prices for different grades

POSCO Steel will cut scrap buy prices for Pohang and Gwangyang by KRW 20,000/t ($14/t ) from 3 Nov’22.
Dongkuk Steel will reduce purchase prices for weight AS and weight BLC by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t), and by KRW 5,000/t($4/t) for weight ALC, compression, and shredder scrap.
SeAH Besteel will cut prices for weight A, B, AL, and BL by KRW 20,000/t ($14/t), and by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t )for other grades.
