China: Steel mills accept first round of met coke price cut

Some steel mills in Shandong province in China accepted the first round of coke price cut of RMB 110/t ($15/t). Due to rising Covid-19 cases and weak domestic steel demand, met coke demand is severely impacted. As on 1 Nov, Hebei’s Tangshan met coke prices stood at RMB 2,800/t ($386/t).
