India: Jharkhand mills report over 5,000 t deals in billets, sponge iron

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,800 t of billet deals in the price range of INR 46,100-46,300/t exw-Ramgarh.
1,950 t of P-DRI and 1,550 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 30,200-30,300/t and INR 32,700-32,800/t exw-Ramgarh, respectively.
The market remained silent today as buyers were not that active. Due to the pressure on the semis and finished long steel markets, buyers held their positions.
