Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) conducted an auction for 48,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe56.5%) on 31 Oct’22. The material was from its TRB mines in Odisha and the floor price was set at INR 1,600/wet metric tonne ex-mines (including royalty, DMF and NMET). According to market sources, the auction closed without a single bid being placed.
