SteelMint’s weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index decreased to INR 3,600/t ex-mines on 29 October, 2022 (including royalty, DMF & NMET). The market has remained subdued with fewer trades heard.
SteelMint’s daily sponge iron, CDRI, index was assessed at INR 33,450/tonne (t) (- INR 100/t) exw-Rourkela on 29 October, 2022. Several deals were concluded to the Punjab and Maharashtra markets. About 5,900 t of transactions in CDRI were recorded by SteelMint on 29 October against 1,250 t on 28 October.
