Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) has floated tenders for sale of six abandoned coal mines under the second tranche of auctions. Among these, fresh tenders were initiated for Begunia, PB Project and Salanpur mines. The remaining three Madhuband, Lohapatti and Amlabad are considered for re-tendering after previous tenders for these mines in first tranche was cancelled due to non-receipt of bids.
