India: Vedanta’s aluminium output increases marginally q-o-q in Q2FY23

Vedanta has recorded aluminium production at 584,000 t in Q2FY23, up marginally by 3% q-o-q and 2% y-o-y. With the completion of its Jharsaguda aluminium plant’s capacity expansion to 1.8 million tonnes per annum, the company’s total production capacity has reached 2.4 million tonnes per annum.
Meanwhile, Vedanta’s zinc production stood at 255,000 t in Q2, up 3% y-o-y.
