Multiple auctions of mild steel melting scrap were held by auto component producers in western India this week. At an auction conducted by Pune-based producer on 28 Oct’22, 1,200 t of CR-HR mixed scrap received bids at INR 41,350/t exw. At another auction from Nashik on the same day, 200 t of HR-CR punching received bids at INR 43,150/t exw.
