Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 29 Oct’22. As per SteelMint assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stand at INR 40,800/t exy. Prices were steady despite limited purchase enquiries in the spot market and lackluster trade in semis and finished steel in yesterday’s session.
