India: Vedanta’s chrome ore output falls more than 75%, q-o-q, in Q2FY23

Vedanta-FACOR’s chrome ore production fell by a whopping 76% q-o-q to 34,000 t in Q2FY23 compared with 140,000 t in Q1FY23. The sharp fall was because of a slow down in mining operations due to the rainy season.

Ferro chrome production declined by 39% q-o-q to 11,000 t in Q2 as a result of the shutdown of its plant for furnace lining.
