Trade level HR plate prices remained unchanged w-o-w amid the festive mood. SteelMint’s assessment for HR plate (E20, 5-10mm) stood at INR 56,500-57,500/t and (E250, 20-40mm) at INR 60,500-61,500/t. Prices mentioned are on an exy-Mumbai basis excluding GST @ 18%. “Diwali and other festivals being observed this week have kept the traders’ market mostly inactive,” informed sources.
