Auto component scrap auctions held by several producers in Maharashtra received an overwhelming response. A Pune-based producer conducted an auction for 1,800 t of HR-CR mixed busheling and punching scrap on 27 Oct which fetched bids at INR 41,550-41,700/t exw. In another auction from Nashik for 500 t (same material), the entire quantity was booked at INR 40,800-41,000/t exw.
