Indian Billet prices remain range bound on decent demand   

“Buying activities in Billet have been good in Mumbai (Maharashtra) due to which prices have sustained at same levels.

Around a week back, a new plant has started operations and has a per day production capacity of 1,000 tons of re-bars, which has also resulted in improved demand of the semi finished material.

Offers stand at Rs 31,900/MT (ex works Mumbai) and Billet is slightly more expensive to ingot now”, said traders.

In Durgapur (West Bengal), Billet makers met with sales in good volumes at Rs 34,500/MT (Including all).
