Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, opened stable d-o-d today after the Diwali holidays. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,800/t exy, as per SteelMint assessment. However, sources say that the market may remain quiet today as well due to the disparity between offers and bids.
