Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan decreased by RMB 30/t ($4/t) to RMB 3,580/t ($498/t), inclusive of 13% VAT as against the closing on 21 Oct. However, d-o-d billet prices remained unchanged. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,580/t ($498/t), a fall of RMB 50/t ($7/t) as against 21 Oct.
