Balco and Hindalco have cut aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 6,000/t ($73/t) d-o-d on 21 Oct. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 210,750/t ($2,553/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 206,000/t ($2,496/t). The decline in spot prices on LME by $60/t put pressure on primary producers to lower their offers, SteelMint noted.
