“Billet makers located in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) are running at 35-40% capacities only.
There has been no alteration in demand for the last few days, which looks to have stabilized.
We are forced to operate at such low capacities due to restriction on units being consumed.
The above stated reasons resulted in price fall of Rs 500/MT to Rs 31,300 to 31,800/MT (ex works Hyderabad).
Billet was last sold at Rs 31,300/MT and prices might be range bound in the days ahead”, shared a senior official of a Billet manufacturing company.
