JSW Steel achieved steel sales of 5.01 mnt in Q2FY23, up 24% q-o-q as compared to 4.03 mnt in Q1FY23. Similarly, sales registered an increase of 32% y-o-y against 3.79 mnt in Q2FY22. Sales of flat steel stood at 3.6 mnt and long steel at 1.18 mnt in the quarter under review. Export volumes declined sharply by 37% q-o-q in Q2 due to imposition of 15% duty in May’22.
