India: Wire rods enquiries remain limited in major markets due to high offers

Induction furnace route-wire rod market observed limited purchase enquiries d-o-d owing to high offers quoted by most Raipur- and Durgapur-based mills. Few suppliers concluded 1,200 t of deals at INR 50,300-50,500/t exw-Durgapur while some traders and manufacturers sold 2,000 t of wire rods at INR 51,200-51,400/t exw and FOR Raipur.
