Balco and Hindalco have raised aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by up to INR 6,000/t ($72/t) against 19 Oct’22. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 216,750/t ($2,619/t), while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 212,000/t ($2,561/t) exw, excluding GST. The price hike was in line with an increase in LME’s futures and spot prices by up to $45/t d-o-d.
