Australian premium HCC prices increased by $5/t d-o-d to $299/t FOB on 20 Oct’22. Prices increased amid supply disruptions due to heavy rains in the country. Shipments from Gladstone Port are expected to be delayed by 15-30 days. Coking coal supply will remain tight till December as the La Nina event in Australia is expected to stay during the spring and summer time.
