USA: RMDAS ferrous scrap index down m-o-m in October

The Raw Material Data Aggregation Service (RMDAS) ferrous scrap price index decreased m-o-m in Oct’22 on weak global steel market.
The average price of shredded scrap stood at $380/t in Oct’22, down $29/t m-o-m, prompt industrial composite scrap at $378/t, down $33/t and the HMS index at $316/t, down $5/t.
The index tracks US spot market prices of steel mills and foundries.
