China books first deep-sea bulk scrap cargo from UK

A leading trading group of China has booked a bulk scrap cargo from a UK supplier, sources confirmed.
The Supramax-sized bulk cargo comprised 51,066 t of shredded and bonus materials that arrived on 14 Oct’22.
Another UK-origin ferrous scrap cargo is expected to arrive on 21 October.
