China-backed Hunutlu Thermal Power Plant in Turkey, whose construction began in Sep’19, has become fully operational. The power project has two units of 660-megawatt power generation equipment. It has a capacity of 1,320 megawatts, and would supply 9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to Turkey annually, which is about 3% of the country’s annual electricity production.
