India: NINL offers Pig Iron at INR 19,400/MT

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), a state-owned and India’s largest Pig iron manufacturer, is offering Pig iron at INR 19,400/MT (USD 315/MT) ex-plant for N2 grade (Si: 1.25-1.79%).

Prices have come down after the company received bids lower by USD 20/MT for its 30,000 MT export tender concluded last week. Bids were heard at USD 301.6/MT, FoB Paradip Port.

Earlier, NINL had offered about 50,000 MT Pig iron in the domestic market in different lots. For which, the company received bid at INR 18,700/MT for biggest lot of 21,000 MT Pig iron and INR 19,900-20,000/MT (ex-plant) for smaller lots of 100-200 MT. While, the remaining quantity is now being offered by the company through open sale offer.
