China: HRC, CRC prices stable d-o-d; futures edge down

China’s domestic HRC and CRC prices remained unchanged d-o-d on 18 Oct’22. Current offers-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,920/t ($545/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,365/t ($606/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, inclusive of 13% VAT.

SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,681/t ($511/t), down by RMB 25/t ($3/t) on d-o-d basis.
