India: South African RB3 coal booked at INR 15,500/t at Haldia Port

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was booked by a sponge iron manufacturer at INR 15,500/t at Haldia Port. Prices at Vizag Port remain higher at INR 14,300/t with rising blending activity with high-CV Russian coal and low-CV Australian Carmichael coal.
