Imported HRC (SS400) offers from China have dropped by $20-30/t to $560-570/t CFR Karachi from the previous week’s $580-600/t CFR levels. Buying interest remains limited amid seasonally weak demand during monsoons. Furthermore, appreciation of the dollar against other currencies and inflationary concerns are weighing on HRC offers on the global platform, SteelMint learnt. Japanese HRC dropped to $590-600/t CFR from $620/t CFR a week back.
