South Korea: Steel billet exports surge over 65%, m-o-m, in Sep’22

South Korea’s steel billet exports rose by a whopping 66% m-o-m to 15,118 t in Sep’22 from 9,104 t in Aug’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the major importer with 5,274 t.
Total export volumes fell by 50% to 168,474 t in Jan-Sep’22 as against 337,818 t in the same period last year.
