A fire broke out in SAIL – Bhilai Steel Plant’s (BSP’s) blast furnace no. 8 yesterday. The production at rail mill and wire rod mills were stopped after the incident, and it is expected that it will lead to a marginal production loss of around 3,000 tonnes in the next 3-4 days. This shall impact the market sentiments, SteelMint learnt from a few sources.
