Taiwan: Coal imports decline by 24% m-o-m in Sep’22

Taiwan’s coal imports fell by 24% m-o-m to 5.5 mnt in Sep’22, customs data showed. Easing summer temperature following the La Nina effect and higher Indonesian coal prices amid renewed Chinese demand slowed down procurement by Taiwan-based power utilities last month.
