Aluminium scrap prices witnessed a slight variation of INR 1,000/t d-o-d, SteelMint assessment shows. Expectations of trade channels diverged in line with volatile sentiments due to LME’s futures and spot price swings. A few trader sources see prices remaining supported on better automobile sales in India and China. However, other market participants are expecting prices to witness minor correction owing to geopolitical tension.
