India: Copper production remains largely stable m-o-m in August

India’s copper production by the primary producers in Aug’22 remained mostly stable m-o-m. The primary players recorded production at 50,000 t in Aug against 49,000 t in Jul. Company-wise, Hindalco recorded production at 36,000 t in Aug as against 35,000 t in Jul, while Sesa Sterlite’s output stood at 14,000 t versus 14,000 t in Jul. Copper ore production stood at 270,000 t in Aug as against 280,000 t in Jul.
