Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market edged up by INR 200/t d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 42,800/t ex-yard. Semi-finished steel prices increased slightly in the region yesterday and moderate trading activity at current price levels led scrap suppliers to increase offers today.
