Indonesian thermal coal prices fell amid weak buying appetite from China during the Golden Week holidays. Prices fell in the range of $2-4/t. However, a sharp fall didn’t take place due to winter restocking demand and tight supply in Indonesia. Market participants expect Chinese traders to return to overseas booking post the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
