India: Primary aluminium producers raise ingot offers sharply by up to INR 16,000/t ($195/t)

Nalco, Hindalco, and Balco have substantially raised aluminium ingot offers by up to INR 16,000/t ($195/t) following healthy price trends on major exchanges like LME, SHFE and MCX. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 225,500/t ($2,739/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 220,750/t ($2,682/t), up INR 9,000/t ($109/t). Nalco’s prices are at INR 223,500/t exw ($2,715/t), up INR 16,000/t ($195/t) excluding GST.
