South Asia: Imported containerised scrap prices slightly up

South Asia’s imported scrap buying remained slow for yet another day. However, the prices have moved up against yesterday. Bangladeshi containerised sellers are not offering and are out of the market for the time being. On the other hand, Pakistan’s scrap prices are increasing despite subdued finished steel sentiments.

Meanwhile, the Indian market is muted due to the ongoing festive season as major market participants remained inactive today.
