Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices decreased by INR 100/t, while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices went down by INR 50/t on 4 Oct’22.
- 1,300 t PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 31,300-31,400/t exw against offers at INR 31,500/t.
- CDRI offers stood at INR 32,500/t exw and around 1,200 t of deals were concluded.
- Buying interest remained low as market participants were partially active.
