Korea South-East Power (KOSEP) has invited bids through two different tenders for purchase of 0.3 MnT Steam coal for its Yeongdong Thermal Power Plant.
Tender 1: Purchase of 160,000 MT Steam Coal
Prices should be quoted on FOBT & CFR basis. The delivery of the shipment is scheduled between 1 and 28 Feb’15; NCV min 4,600 kcal/kg.
Bidders should quote for minimum quantity of 80,000 MT (for shipment from China & Indonesia) or 140,000MT (for shipment from Australia, Canada, South Africa, USA and Colombia) or 130,000MT (for shipment from Newcastle Australia).
Specification
- Total Moisture (As received basis): 30% max
- Volatile Matter (Air dried basis): 22% min
- Fixed Carbon (Air dried basis): 60% max
- Ash (Air dried basis): 17% max
Tender 2: Purchase of 140,000 MT Steam Coal
Prices should be quoted on only FOBT basis. The delivery of the shipment is scheduled between 1 and 31 Mar’15; NCV min 5,700 kcal/kg.
Bidders should quote for minimum quantity of 140,000 MT in different lots of 80,000 MT (for shipment from China & Indonesia) or 140,000MT (for shipment from Australia, Canada, South Africa, USA and Colombia) or 130,000MT (for shipment from Newcastle Australia). Russain grade coal will not be accepted.

- Fixed Carbon (Air dried basis): 60% max
- Ash (Air dried basis): 20% max
Note: Bidders should submit single price for the entire quantity offered.
Last date for submission of bids for both the tenders is 20 Jan, 2015 at 11.00 hrs.
