Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Pakistan’s leading natural gas supplier in Karachi, has decided to start power production following a continuous drop in gas supplies from domestic fields. Its subsidiary SSGC Alternate Energy (Pvt) Ltd will work on projects such as renewable or environment-friendly fuels like producing gas from coal, biogas, bio-methane and hydrogen gas to sustain in the dynamic environment.
