Aluminium scrap prices (of most grades) remained largely stable with marginal changes of INR 1,000/t d-o-d. According to trade participants, scrap prices should get some support with the sharp price hike of INR 14,750/t announced by primary aluminium producers. Meanwhile, a few scrap sellers have raised offers by INR 1,000-2,000/t d-o-d but no transactions have been confirmed till the time of publishing.
