Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang increased by INR 200/t d-o-d on 30 Sep, as per SteelMint assessment. Prices of HMS (80:20) are assessed at INR 42,200/t exy. During yesterday’s trading session, the entire domestic scrap market remained stable, with the exception of some areas like Jalna where some improvement was seen.
