Metso Outotec to set up pellet plant for China’s Shougang International

Leading industrial machinery company Metso Outotec and China’s Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co Ltd have entered into the contract to build an iron ore pellet plant in Qian’an, Hebei province in China. The core of the plant is Metso’s traveling grate pellet indurating furnace with a grate area of 504 meter square. The plant is expected to commence operations from end-2023.
