Induction-furnace route steel wire rod manufacturers increased offers by INR 400/t to INR 52,700/t exw today. However, buying enquiries were limited at higher prices. Around 1,700 t of deals were concluded by resellers in the price range of INR 51,700-52,000/t exw. In the competitive market of Durgapur, West Bengal, prices were assessed at INR 51,300-51,500/t exw.
