China: Coal inventory at Qinhuangdao Port rises for the second week

Coal inventory at China’s Qinhuangdao Port rose by 5% to 4.95 mnt on 23 Sept. Notably, this is the second consecutive weekly increase in inventory. Daqin rail has increased coal delivery amid rising restocking demand by power plants because of the upcoming winters. In addition, power plants are building up stocks before a major political event scheduled on 16 Oct.
