Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd. (ASAL), manufactures and suppliers of sheet metal components, welded assemblies and modules for automobiles, held an auction for 2,200 t of HR-CR punching scrap from its plants in Pune (Maharashtra) and Panthnagar (Uttarakhand) on 23 Sept’22. As per sources, 1,200 t was booked from the Pune plant at INR 45,800/t exw, while 1,000 t was booked at 47,950/t exw from Panthnagar.
